Aims and Objectives

Infrastructure of the Institute

  • The Governing Body of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission has taken decision to upgrade its existing Technical/Vocational Institutes offering short-term Vocational/Technical courses to offer long term courses through affiliation from the Director General of Training (DGT), Government of India under NCVT courses. This up-gradation will provide the trainees more opening for job in Government Sector/Non-Government Sectors throughout India. Moreover there is less number of such institutes called Industrial Training Institutes in West Bengal compared to other states.

  • Investment for making arrangements of an ITI is very high therefore Mission has decided to go step by step towards a full-fledged institution not only at Joyrambati, Bankura but also in other branches like Purulia, Deoghar, Gorakhpur, Barrackpore also.

  • Most importantly the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda has started from 12th January, 2012 and these new institutes will be a part of the programme for celebration of this great occasion.
